Chrissie Whittingham

I build communities people don't want to leave.

Yoga was prescribed to me. I hated the idea of it before I'd even rolled out a mat. I wasn't a calm, relaxed person, and I definitely wasn't a "yoga person."

My husband asked me a simple question: why isn't there yoga for people like you? No incense, no rules, no judgement if you turned up with a coffee, or stayed after for a glass of wine.

I spent the first two years completely consumed by it, building the biggest yoga events in the North West, and growing faster than I expected. There was no existing model in the yoga industry that would let me grow it properly, so I built one. That licence model is now running in 30+ locations across the UK, built in the last 12 months alone, with no ad spend.

Once that worked, people started asking the same question: how did you actually do that? Not the yoga part, the community part. So I started applying it elsewhere. Female founder events, 150 people, sold out, twice a year. Premium partner events for brands. A schools programme built on the same idea.

Different rooms, same proof: strip away the performance, and people connect. Do that on purpose, enough times, and you get a community that grows itself.

I'm not just running a yoga business anymore. I'm the person people come to when they want to know how, so they can build it inside their own business.

This was never just about the yoga.

Ways to work with me

"Everyone had glowing feedback. It improved their morning and was the perfect precursor to a productive day. A great way to start the day, or finish it, when hosting a team meeting."

Tell me a bit about what you're building. I'll come back to you with some thoughts on how we could work together.
